![]() Object, Add an area, Subtract an area, or Exit. ![]() And we can see that I have a whole bunch of options down the command line. And this will make the next couple steps a little bit easier. Next, I need to determine the area of the pool and the area of the deck. And we can see that they've been rotated just shy of 36 degrees off of the vertical. In this case I'll use the vertical line here. And then I need to select another line to use as a reference. So I'm going to draw a small line from the center point to the center point of the circle and press Return. We can see that they've been rotated off of the 90 degree axis. And now I want to take a look at the steps here. ![]() I'll hit Escape to get out of the command. And we can see that the overall length of the pool is about 34 foot two inches. In this case I'll choose the midpoint here and the midpoint here. From here I can click any points that I want. I want to use two quadrant points, so I'm going to go up to Tools, Inquiry, and Distance. Now I need to know the overall length of my pool. I also want to change the angle to Decimal Degrees with a precision of two decimal places, and then click OK. And I want to change my units from Decimal to Architectural. First, I'm going to go up to Format, and then come down to Units.
